Hurston Marine professionally installs bow and stern thrusters on yachts and boats. The process of installing a thruster on a yacht is very complicated and requires lifting the yacht out of the water for a long time (about 2 weeks). First, molding work is carried out, holes are cut in the ship’s hull and a fiberglass tunnel is molded, which is then reinforced on both sides of the hull. Next, a layer of gelcoat is applied on the outside and inside to completely seal the fiberglass. After complete drying, the thruster is installed using reliable marine sealants. After the sealant has completely dried, the vessel is ready to be thrown into the water. Next, an additional battery for the thruster is installed, as well as an additional charger, a ground disconnector, fuses, and all power and signal cables are laid. Next, a joystick for control is installed and commissioning is carried out.
