Yacht furniture and interiors reconstruction

remont

Shipbuilding in the world does not stand still and every day more and more new lines of motor boats & yachts are created. Innovative technological solutions, new materials, accessories, lamps and much more. As much as we would like to avoid this, but over the years the interior of the yacht becomes outdated, the fabrics & leather of the sofas becomes worn, cracks and chips appear on the lacquer coatings, the pilot’s console does not look as modern as before. If such a moment has come, then it is time to update the design of the Yacht.

The first thing that starts restyling the interior and exterior of the yacht is a detailed examination of the yacht in order to identify defects and structural features of the hull, this is done in order to understand which elements can be left and which should be replaced. After that, designers begin their work, who think through every element of the updated interior to the smallest detail. After that, the design project is agreed with the customer and work begins.

How the Yacht Redesign Project is carried out:
    1. A full assessment of the state of the yacht is made with a detailed photo report. The condition of all furniture, interior upholstery, paintwork, sofas, mattresses, the external condition of the yacht and its painting or gelcoat is assessed. The condition of the wiring and motors is also assessed.
    2. In cooperation with the designer, a new style of the yacht is being developed, interiors are being changed, and the total estimate price is being calculated. Visualization of the new interior is being prepared. The estimate includes the cost of labor, materials and equipment to be replaced.
    3. After agreeing on all work and cost. Work begins. All damaged interior panels, damaged furniture elements disassembles and all elements that may be damaged during the repair process packes. In the event that a complete alteration of the interior is made, the furniture is completely dismantled.
    4. In the workshop, repairs of all panels and furniture and the production of new elements are carried out. Coloring, lacquering, leather upholstery, teak deck production, etc.
    5. While new furniture is being produced in the workshop, the yacht is undergoing repairs to electrical, hydraulic and other systems. New cables are being laid for additional systems.
    6. At the same time, the yacht’s hull is being repaired and polished. This operation rejuvenates the appearance of the yacht for 5-10 years. The yacht begins to shine in the sun and look spectacular.
    7. After completion of work in the workshop, assembly of the entire cabin begins. In parallel, new navigational and other equipment is being installed.
    8. When all assembly work is completed, the entire yacht is cleaned, the furniture is finally polished, new carpets are laid, and all electronics are checked.
    9. After that, the yacht droppes into the water and is completely ready for use.
