Harston Marine completes, installs and upgrades navigation systems of any complexity. We work with equipment brands Raymarine, Simrad, Garmin. We carry out professional installation of chartplotters, depth sounders, radars, thermal imagers, speed, wind, depth and autopilot sensors, as well as other navigation systems.
We are engaged only in professional installation of navigation equipment using original components, branded connectors, and reliable connectors. We connect the entire system to a regular power supply panel. If all the reserve circuit brakers are occupied, we add an additional circuit braker that looks like the original one.
How the process of installing navigation on a yacht looks like:
- Before we started, we agree the configuration and budget of the navigation system with the customer, discuss the installation locations of chartlotters and other indicators.
- We carefully disassemble the necessary interior and exterior panels of the yacht and lay signal cables and power wires. After that we prepare the wiring for connection at the control posts.
- We install Radar and other antennas on the pylon on flybridge of a yacht or boat. If there is not enough space on the pylon, we make a special stainless steel rack for more compact placement of equipment.
- We drill the hole and mount the new echo sounder sensor into the underwater part of the body on a special marine underwater sealant.
- Carefully we cut the holes and mount the chartplotters into the helm station. If required, we produce new panels from leather, wood, plastic or other finishing materials.
- After installation, we set up all the equipment, assemble all the panels in place and clean up as if we had never been there.
