New from Isotta is a yacht helm with a fixed keyboard that does not rotate with the steering wheel (patented technology). The functions that can be controlled directly from the steering wheel are endless: each command can “migrate” from its current position directly to the keyboard integrated into the steering wheel.

The Isotta steering wheel is designed to connect to any digital bus of boat (NMEA2000, CAN, RS485 or RS232) and can be further expanded depending on the specific needs of the client. For example, using this steering wheel, you can control the volume of music, switch tracks if you have a Fusion stereo.

Patented technology guarantees multiple possibilities at the same time:

• The design of the steering wheel allows you to turn the steering wheel separately from the control keys. The keypad remains in a fixed position, allowing the pilot to interact with the buttons in a quick, practical and safe manner without having to move them along with the steering wheel.
• Intelligent Isotta helms are connected to the ship’s network of a boat or yacht using a CAN/BUS or NMEA2000 cable. Since it does not require a wireless connection, it provides extremely reliable and reliable electrical signals from the steering wheel itself, allowing control of sensitive functions such as engine speed and cruise control, as well as control of trim tabs, stereo, ballasts and all those functions the controls of which are currently located on the dashboard of the boat.
• The helm keypad is directly connected to the yacht’s or boat’s battery and therefore will never run out of power, unlike overhead control keypads that use wireless connections.
• This helm can control Fusion marine radios via the NMEA2000 protocol.
