The Lexus Sport Yacht is powered by two 5-litre V8 petrol engines powered by a high-performance engine that powers the Lexus RC F coupe, the GS F sports sedan and the powerful new LC 500. Each engine delivers 440 horsepower and propels the boat up to 49 mph (43 node). And stern and bow thrusters help with mooring.

The idea for a concept yacht was born a few years ago when Akio Toyoda, president of Toyota Motor Corporation, spent some time testing the production line for motorboats built by Toyota Marine. An experienced boat driver, Toyoda was inspired by the power, handling and stability of hull structures. He then gave the maritime department a proposal on how a premium yacht could expand the Lexus brand into new areas of life and leisure.
